Ah.

I haven't posted an entry here for ages. Now seems like a good time.

I have been very busy doing my teaching which has been going well, especially considering the school I was in and the people I was involved with.

It's been a long, yet rewarding few months, so on the whole I am very happy with how things are going.

So for now that it - hopefully I will start to use this more on the new year - Happy Xmas!!!

Ugh...So early, so tired...

Well life generally has nice way of biting you in the arse doesn't it. Things can never be simple, there always has to be something happening that you don't want. This time it's band related. More on this later, as i'm still not clear on some stuff and need to speak to a few people to sort some things out/find out details about stuff. So until then i'm gonna be quiet on this front.

Anyhow, after a nap a day of work awaits me. This evening is Tom T's party which should be good. Staying around Anna's place too which is cool.

Finally, Happy birthday to Cassie! 18 today! Hope you have a lovely time and see you soon xxx

Friday. FRIDAY!!!

I can't believe half term has gone so fast. I have sorted out my folder now but haven't planned anything - eek!! However I am not too far behind. I need only to do a small amount of work tomorrow and I shall be sorted.

Yesterday we went to Soba. It was as lovely and yummy as ever. I really could live on that stuff. Would turn into a balloon, but..
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh as an aside, my weight loss plan has gone to the shitter. I have now a choice. Firstly to re-start it in the weeks leading up to Xmas and see how I do by them; or secondly to not bother, and try to eat better and work out on occasion. Finally I could carry on eating like crap :( I will have to think about this...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyhow after that we went to see Wicked. It was interesting...

In terms of production and staging it was amazing. I don't know if i've ever seen anything like it. The same goes for the performances. The singers were fantastic. This side of the show was great.
The plot however was non-existant. This isn't a big thing in a musical but this one really suffers. The songs too...Can't remember any of them. Instantly forgetable.
I know that it's getting good reviews and loads of people wanna see it, but I really can't recomend it.

Anyway, it was still a good night. I'm going to get food tonight, then tomorrow - Partytime! Whooo!

My god. I have been so busy lately.

Between attending my school placement and planning a seemingly endless number of lessons (or failing too), I have been visiting parts of London with Anna; getting wasted and missing Uni Alt Soc nights; taking Cassie to a Uni open day; not sleeping much at all and generally stressing about life, the universe and everything.

Still, money problems are now sorted (at least until January) so thats a weight off my mind.

Busy day tomorrow, have to pay my rent then pop into Ux to pick up a few things before going out to London in the afternoon/evening. I will get no lessons planned then either. Great.

I really need to give some of this more thought...I may have to spend Friday and some of Saturday working my arse off. 12 lesons a week to plan...Hmmm...This will require some thought...

Nearly halfway through the week. My full time teaching placement is coming up soon (eek!).

Anyway, Sunday went really quickly. I went into Uxbridge with Anna S.W. and Cassie and we had lunch at The Met pub as Anna had gotten some free meal vouchers. Was very nice, had a giantic burger. Yum.

We then went back to mine to watch Audition, something Cassie had been on at me to see for sometime. We didn't manage to finish it so I lent it to Cassie on the condition that she got it back to me asap (it had been rented from Brunel Library).

I went to band practice after Cassie left. We both got the 427 bus (her getting off at Hayes, me at Ealing) and were stuck on there with two of the most foul smelling tramps I have ever had the misfortune of being near. Ugh makes me wretch now...

Band was ok. We did some good work. I'm just worried that if we don't carry on and put more effort in soon we will all being to stagnate again.

Monday and Tuesday were spent in Uni. Anna B and myself arranged another day out (yay!) this coming Sunday which is very nice indeed. Other than that it was many boring lectures. Well they are nearly over now for a bit.

Went to do some shopping with Anna after Uni on Tuesday. Was really cool. A bit later on I went over to Cassie's place to pick up Audition. I brought over The Sims to lend to her and we played that for a bit. Was fun.

Now i'm back home...Gonna eat now methinks.

For once I feel nicely rested. I have actually had a good nights sleep. Go me!

Tiredness has really become an issue for me. More so than normal. Having to get up so early again (after a few months of being a lazy student)is really quite draining. Bah. I guess i'll get used to it soon enough.

Last Saturday Dan, Cassie and Kyle and I went to Slimelight. I actually had a very good time there. It drastically changed my opinion of that place. Looks like we are goning to be heading there again quite soon...

Sunday was spend with Dan at my place continuing to get wasted. We got three hours sleep before band (uhoh!). Despite us being very tired we actually did some good work. We wrote an awful lot of new stuff that sounds excellent. We should have a new song on the way a.s.a.p.

Monday and Tuesday were spent at uni. Monday eveing I visited Cassie to fix her PC which had been giving her some problems. Looks like that is finally sorted now. Excellent!

Got the bill for my rent. They want the first installment in a month. It is for £1500. Gulp. This naturally scared me shitless, so I headed into Uxbridge to speak to the LEA. They told me that my maintainace grant had been approved - Score! £4500 coming my way! This mad me somewhat less scared.

Wednesday was spent doing nothing. Nice to have a day off. In fact I did do something...Went into Uxbridge I believe but the details of that day and eveing escape me. I guess I may have been drinking :p

Thursday and Friday were spent in Hayes' wonderful Mellow Lane School. Despite all the warnings that I had a bout the place, I actually kinda like it. There are people on my course who have got a much worse deal than me. My department is very cool too. They all travelled to Brighton after work on Friday to spend a night at a hotel, going on the razz! Lol, teachers for you.

I got to se a bunch of horror film trailers that the Media Studies GCSE class had made, and to help with the children who are doing them this year. Now that reall was fun! I've already found ways to improve them and it looks like the teacher is going to let me show the class soon!

On Friday evening I got home from school and fell deeply asleep. I really needed it. Later that eveing Cassie came around and we watched films and ate pizza and generally chilled at the flat. Was a nice night.

On Saturday I met up with Anna at Waterloo. We had a coffee and headed to Camden. We walked around the shops and I bought a new pair of trousers and a tie. Very happy with them! We went to the Dev for a drink before heading off agaon. After that we went to Algate East where we quickly popped into Whitechapel gallery. We looked about a bit but it appeared rather closed so we soon headed off. We walked down Brick Lane to look for somewhere to eat. We finally found somewhere (lured in by good reviews posted on the outside) and it was quite tasty!

After eating we went to Tower Hill where we joined a Jack the Ripper walk. It took about two hours but was alot of fun. Was quite knackered by the end of it though.

We then got the train to Waterloo. We had a drink in the bar there before we said our goodbyes. Was a really nice day.

Had to take the long tube ride home after that. But it went quite fast and I was home before mid-night.

Later on today I have band. Then another, similar week by the look of it.

Ok - long week!

We had the gig on the weekend. It went really well I thought. I played as well as I could and everyone who went had a good time - Score!

The rest of the week went really fast. I saw Cassie briefly early on in the week. We hung out at my place for a bit. Was nice.

On Wednesday I started at Mellow Lane school. Was interesting. I was there for three days and will be there every Thursday and Friday until half term. After that i will be there full time and teaching. Eek!

I briefly popped round Anna's place last night. Had some drinks and saw the guys, which was cool.

After work tonight I went to Ask with Cassie. Had some excellent food. After that we went back to my place and we were joined by Kyle and we chilled at mine for the evening. They have just left and now I shall drink, chill and sleep. Maybe clubbing tommorow, who knows.

Ah what a lovely weekend.

I spent Friday at a school near Uxbridge. I had stayed over Anna's house and gone to a really good Italian resturant the night before. We went for a walk by the Thames and then to a pub. I had a wonderful time.

The school we went to was quite nice. It had really excellent facilities and the staff all seemed to be friendly. We did take part in several of the lessons, but it was a relief not to be teaching those miserable feckers.

After work I got dropped of at Brunel by Anna. I met some of the guys at the bar and stayed there until about 8. I then went home and fell promptly asleep. I woke up at 10 to greet Mel and Anna S.W. who popped round mine for drinks. We got smashed on Absinthe and had a reet laff. Twas fun. Got to sleep about 3.

Saturday was a lazy, sleepy day. I got a call from Cassie as she had no money on her and needed to borrow bus fare. Twas a bit of an odd call but I met up with her and we had ice cream. The rest of the day was spent chilling at mine until Cassie came over again much later. There we drank lots and eventually made our way into London (very late).

We met up with Dan at Camden Town St. He had been talking to a bag lady. Whatever floats your boat I guess. We went to a McDonalds where Cassie somehow managed to get away with not paying and get an extra potion of fries. Damn it. After stuffing our faces and feeling rather ill we headed to Koko for Antilight.

To be honest Antilight blew ever so hard this time. For the following reasons:

1) Too many people. The charm of Antilight is that it's not very full. Ever.
2) Shite Music. Loads of Slimelight regulars where there (apparently) and despite claiming to be 'anti' that kinda thing the DJ's out did themselves in sucking up to the crowd. Possibly in a vain attempt to make them all come next month.
3) Everyone buggered off after Queen Adrenna - Everyone. It was stupid. Hate it when it was full - hate it when its empty. Bah.
4) Finished at 2. At 2!!! WTF!

The usual gripes - too expensive, good sets played too early apply too. At least QA were good.

So we headed home and all came back to mine where we drank Cider and Absinthe into the early hours until we all fell asleep around 6ish.

We got up about 2 I guess. We all watched X Factor and then headed into Uxbridge for Nandos. It was as good as ever. After this we went CD shopping. I got A Flower Kings and a Yes album and Cassie got a QOTSA one. After this we went our seperate ways. Cassie to home and us to Band.

The practice was the last one before the gig. It went rather well and we all managed to go away feeling great.

On Monday We had a dull day of lectures and seminars. After work I went to Anna B's place. We had dinner together then went to the cinema to watch Clerks 2. We both enjoyed it, and considering that Anna hadn't seen the first (or any other K.S. films) I thought it went down quite well.

We got up nice and early to do our QTS Literacy test. Sadly the computers in the test centre were broken, and after two hours of waiting around we left and went back to Anna's for lunch. We headed onto Uni and got there for the afternoon and watched the last few seminars. I also found out that the school I am spending the next 8-10 weeks in is Mellow Lane. I asked Cassie about it and she said it was 'shit'.

After Uni I met up with Cassie again. We went to Wetherspoons for a drink and then headed to Odeon to watch Dirty Sanchez. It was actually very good. Go See! Afterwards we headed back to Wetherspoons and ate. Feeling quite tired we both got the bus back home.

I'm really quite tired at the moment. I will fall asleep very soon and I can't wait. I'm recording my Bassline for the new song tommorow. Sould be a good day.

I'm quite relaxed and peaceful at the moment.

I'm around my friend Anna's (from my course)house after a long day teaching and observing. We are going to get food soon. Can't wait.

The diary writing went well yesterday. We ended up having a really nice well behaved class. I was Team Leader and took the lesson and it went well. Had a good time. We nearly missed it when a girl on my course managed to spill a starbux coffee all over herself 25 minutes before the lesson. She was ok though and we made it back with plenty of time.

What surprised me was the size of the school. Compared to mine these schools seem to be tiny. It feels quite odd, but I guess it is much more intimate and that everyone knows each other, rather than being another face in the crowd known only to your class and to your teachers like you were at my school.

After school (sounds so funny!) some of us headed down the pub, where we ended up staying for pretty much four hours. It was a very heavy session, but I can't remember a time when I laughed quite as much. Got home about nine, still drunk and went for a chinese quickly. I'm so awful - after losing all the weight I swear i'll turn into a balloon soon!

I thought I was tired during the day, but I really wasn't prepared for the next day. I had to get up at six and it was still dark. The new students kindly helped me rest by getting home late and being rowdy and drunk and shouting rather loudly. Nice one guys.

Anyway I rose at six and got a lift into school by someone on my course. We arrived an hour (!) early and had to hang around for ages doing nothing. When it was time to do so we popped into the reception and signed in. A girl on the course gave me a gingerbread man and platted my hair which was cool.

We all went into the English room an met the staff. They were all very nice. We then got a short tour of the school. After this we observed a lesson which was going on. It was on the detective genre. The teacher was excellent. Loved the way in which she controlled the class.

After this it was our tern to take a class. Now I have never met a bunch of moody, boring uninterested children in my life! They wanted nothing to do with us or our lesson. Despite their obvious disinterest we plowed on and delivered what I thought was quite a good lesson. They seemed to actually have learned something at the end. The others in my group may have thought it was a nightmare, but I went away from that classroom with quite a glow. I really am learning quite alot.

The rest of the day passed in a kind of tired haze. We observed a class writing ballards based on newspapers which was fun. But that was about it for our time at the school.

So I walked with Anna to her house which is where I now am. As I said before we shall be going to get some food soon. It will be a very lovely evening, and guess what?

We've got school tommorow.

Bah...At least its friday.

So yeah another fun action packed week.

Uni is great. So much fun. I have been perfecting my drama presentation and have been thouroughly researching Pinter, which is great fun.

Just got back from Cassie's where I helped set up their internet. Got tea cooked for me and it was very yum. Thanks!

Last week I got my first taste of schooling. On Thursday we were sent to a low ability primary school where some year 6 kids couldnt spell their own name. Was a bit of a shock to say the least. I'm so glad im gonna be doing secondary. Pisser is I have to go back in a week to teach them poetry. Bah.

Thursday evening Cassie popped over which was nice. We had drinks and giggles and fun times.

I woke up not having much sleep and felt like shite all day. Bah. Liam and Andy came up from Wales and we went for drinks in the SU. Got ratted and watched Rob Brydon programs all night.

Saturday we went to the Underworld with Jay and co. Was a bit of a laugh but the music sucked balls.

Sunday they went home. Was quite a good time (btw not really motivated to write atm).

This week I am in school for 3 days, have a presentation and am clubbing on the weekend.

Coolio

What a week!

I've started at Uni again. It's very intensive, I am in every day and in the space of one week I have planned an English literature course for five years, done week long plans and lesson plans. I have to give a seminar to my class on the plays of Harold Pinter next Friday and have to teach diary writing to year seven's on Thursday. Phew!

Of course things had to be complicated. The Uni wanted £500 because the LEA are a bunch of wasters who can't be arsed to open their mail for 2 months! I really wish I had chased it up earlier, but whatever. Lots of people are in this position too. Anyway I haven't been able to enrole. I have now got £500 and will do this on Monday.

So I was quite busy this week.

The weekend was nice though. I had a nice night in on Friday. I briefly saw Cassie which was nice and we agreed to meet up on Saturday. On Saturday we went into London. I needed to buy a DVD for my presentation. We went shopping for a bit I got the DVD, Cassie got some new boots and we ate at Soba, which was so lovely. We wandered Soho for a bit had expensive ice cream (not good quality - just expensive)and walked towards Trafalgar Square and ended up in the National Portrait Gallery which was cool. We sat around Nelson's Column for a bit then went to The Ship to meet Loic, Cavelle and Keith. We then went to Ben Crouch's for more drinks and met up with River. We were quite tired so we decided to go home.

We headed back to my place for some drinks and then Cassie got picked up by her mum. Was a very nice day indeed.

Band today! Gigs Soon!

Well I have left my job! It feels so good! Joy!

I decided to leave work a day early so Thursday became my last day. I was so tired at the end it wasn't funny. After work I went round to Anna's place and hung out with her, Paul and Richard. We had some wine and smoke and I fell asleep.

Friday was a great relief. It was my first real day of freedom. I spent it relaxing in bed for many hours. Later on in the afternoon I went to Anna's to help her decide what to wear to Inferno. We started drinking early and got quite pissed very quickly. After she had decided what to wear we went to my place to do the same for me. We drank more and it quickly became apparent that we were going to be late. Nevermind!

When we were finally ready we left my place and got the tube into Camden. We saw Mel there which was wicked but sadly the club was not good. Once again a Goth night is soiled by Vengaboys like dance music. I do like that kinda thing when its done well, but four hours of annoymous repetitive drivel was too much to bear. Also when they were playing good bands they played stupid songs. If you are going to play The Sisters why choose 'Something Fast'. Also the DJ's nearly blew the speakers by playing 'Tower of Strength' too quietly then cranking it up to full volume to the dismay of everyones ears. A poor, poor amature night.

We left early and got the night bus home.

So on Saturday I got up late and went to Anna's to drop off the stuff he left around my place. I spent the rest of the day moving my stuff to my new flat. Same building but the otherside. It's identical, but a much newer flat. I have also re-aranged my room and it is much better.

Tommorow there is band. I think we may have a gig soon...

Well now. I have been really quite slack about updating recently. Seeing as about three people read this I feel that this is not a major issue!

Anyway...

Last friday I got up really not wanting to go to work at all. Got a message from Anna saying if I wanted my gear for the party I would basically have to pop around ASAP as she had been invited to a secret festival in Wales and had to leave in a few hours. I jumped off the bus and phoned in sick (I used the old 'puked in a KFC bogs' line) and headed back home.

I popped round Anna's place and picked up. She also cooked me a lovely stir fry (lots of people are cooking for me atm...It's really nice! Thanks everyone!). She then got a call which cancelled the trip to Wales. Shit. Whilst this was a bit of a bastard, it did mean that she would be able to come to see Vagabond Eclectic later that day.

Later on I went over Cassie's house. We went Laptop shopping with her mum and due to the craptitude of PC World they were not able to get the ones that we liked the look of. Shit. So, completely pissed off at actual shops, we went to my flat and ordered one online from Dell. Much better.

Cassie was hungry so her mum decided to take the three of us somewhere to eat. Naturally it was Nandos. We were recognised as soon as we walked in. One of the waiters shouted "Two times in two days!", which was quite embarassing to say the least. The food was as good as ever though. Yum.

After a bit of shopping we went our seperate ways. I got home and prepared to go and see V.E. play.

When I got to Ealing Broadway I saw Matt and Anna stuck as Anna had no ticket. After much threats of fines and police, Anna was charged £20 and let go. We made our way to the venue angry and late.

Luckily nothing had started so we got some drinks in and prepared to watch. They were really quite good. Very enjoyable and entertaining, especially if you consider that they haven't been together very long at all. The band after were Emo dulards. Yawn.

After the gig and some more drinking, we headed back to Uxbridge where I found that the key card locks on Brunel halls had failed so I had to be let in by security. I gathered my things and headed to Annas for some tokeage. Pizza was ordered and I fell asleep on Alex's bed. On a fork.

I woke up at 6.30 yearning for my bed so I slipped away, unnoticed. I slept for several hours until it was time to go out again.

I met up with Cassie once more and we began the long journey to Wimbledon to see Dan. Of course it was made longer as Cassie had to stop to get chicken nuggets first.

After forever we reached Wimbledon and met up with Dan. We headed to his were we proceeded to get so trashed its not true. Had such a good time and we all ended up falling asleep on his huge bed!

We woke up late and had a massive lay in. In fact we ended up leaving Dan at nearly 4pm! I got a call from Charlene who was having boy problems and was able to give her some advice, its always nice to help - I just wonder if what I say is actually of any use. Bah.

After another stupidly long journey, I dropped Cassie home and went back to the flat. Spoke to Charlene again before falling into a well deserved sleep.

Monday was a bank holiday. I spent it working. I did get to go home early though, by half an hour! Whoo! :( I spent the evening not doing much. I can't really remember to be honest. I did however get contacted by Mel who inveited me to go to Inferno on Friday, and by Harps who is gonna arange a get together of some of us old Brunel goffix types. Can't wait for both!

Tuesday was work again. Got a call from Cassie asking to go and see the film Severance, as one of her mates who was due to see it had pulled out at the last minute. It looked interesting so I agreed. Was a little rushed but made it in time for the 7pm showing.

The film was actually very good. Quite jumpy, yet also funny and enjoyable. Not a classic but I would happily recomend it. Not Shaun of the Dead, but still a good movie. Afterwards we headed back to the flat for some smoking and drinking. We managed to get trashed on Cassie's Scotch and Coke (and the cider we had during the film). After I walked her to the bus stop I passed out in bed, waking up alot throughout the night and getting maybe four hours sleep.

Woke up at 6am feeling rough. I decide to do an early at work. Drank loads of coffee, but still felt shitty and tired all day. Even after I finished I didn't get to snooze as I went around to Cassie's house to help sort out the laptop whcih was delivered that day. Cassie's mum cooked me some super pizza, was soooo good and we set up the computer and chilled out. We popped to the shops to get some supplies then we all shared a bottle of wine and watched TV whilst Cassie tried to do various puzzles in womens mags. I got a nice call from Paul asking me to come round for a smoke, which I had to decline due to tiredness. We lost all track of time and it was 12 before we knew it. I got a lift home from Cassie's mum which was super duper.

Now here I am.

Sleep! Now!

It is my penultimate week in work. I really can't wait to get out of this place.

I have had a pretty decent week.

On Monday I visited Cassie and her mum. I attempted to fix their PC but it is well and truly done for. They decided that it would a good idea to get a new one (Laptop) and stop using AOL and get broadband instead. Cassie's mum cooked me tea too which was lovely.

Tuesday was gig day. Coheed and Cambria at Shepherds Bush Empire. I went with Paul. The gig was really really good. We had great seats and could see really well too. Afterwards we headed back to Anna'a place for a bit of a smoke. Twas a fun night.

Wednesday was a nothing day. I was going to go to have Nandos with Cassie, but for various reasons it didn't happen and I did nothing by myself instead.

We did however decide to go out today to make up for it. We got some food at Nandos then went back to my place where we chilled out and listened to some music until she went home around 10:30.

Now i'm home alone and bored. I think i will play some dancing game now, before bed.

Tommorow i'm going to see Paul's band play in Ealing. Should be a bit of a laff.

Long week no update.

Ah here goes!

Last Saturday the whole family went to this hotel near Monmouth and in the middle of a wood. It was so remote that there was no phone reception! The place was good. There were only like 8 rooms, all named after famous Welsh people (and Roald Dahl). My brother and I were in Roald. It was obviously a childs room, but was quite cozy no the less.

My parents had ordered a bit of sherry and champagne for my Grandma. She polished them off very quickly and was half-cut for the rest of the night.

The food was incredible. Some of the nicest things that I have ever tasted. Lots of little courses and lovely drink. Yummy yum yum yum!

I had a shite nights sleep though as my brother stayed up watching awful films on the tv. Nevermind.

We all had to get up early for breakfast, but it was so lovely that it didn't matter. After that we checked out and Dad drove me back into Cardiff. Sadly there was some kind of sporting event taking place so the whole city was full of liverpool fans. Nice. Luckily I was able to get on the bus pretty promptish and get into London in quite good time.

Later that day I had band practice and it went really well - our newest song is very nearly done.

The next day it was really work as usual. It was quite nice to have a day when I had nothing to do and had no cares in the world.

Tuesday was pretty much the same thing. After work though I met Paul and Anna at the SU bar. We were later joined by Alex and after a few drinks we headed back to Anna's lace where we got slightly stoned.

Wednesday I was a very tired day. I ended up leaving work early. To be honest the main reason was that I was just worn out. The job really is a grind at the moment. I have two weeks - ten days left though. I really can't wait.

That night I popped round Anna's again. We watched some films and listened to music and got stoned. Was a very nice time indeed.

The next morning I went to work but ended going home early again as i really was too worn out to work. I ended up going into uxbridge to get some supplies and doing some general shopping.

That evening Cassie came over for some drinks and things. It was nice to see her, hadn't done so in a while. Later on Andy came up from Wales to stay for a few days while he attended his job interview to teach English in Japan. So yeh we all had a very nice evening. Andy showed us the dance from 'Shelia Take a Bow' which was very funny indeed! Cassie's mum picked her up and I got to sleep on the floor (according to Cassie this would only be the polite thing to do...bah).

We both got up early for work/interview. Work was as expected, even though it was odd to actually do a full days work! Afterwards I went to Uxbridge to meet up with Andy and do some shopping for food for the next few days. We walked all the way home and settled in. I spent the whole evening watching Big Brother and related programs. Twas nice. Andy did some researching for his next days interview, and soon we retired to bed. I got the floor. Again.

Andy left early on Saturday for the interview. I had a long, long sleep and headed into Uxbridge again to pick up a few things. That evening, after Andy came home we watched random Youtube videos and were joined by Anna and Cassie for a few drinks at my place. Andy spent lots of time working on impressive flash cards for his presentation whilst we got wrecked! It was fun. Anna spent alot of time doing her sewing and gave Cassie a skirt that she couldn't wear. It was a very nice night indeed.

Anna went home around 11.30. Soon after I walked Cassie to the bus stop to get the last bus. Sadly she had gotten the wrong time and missed it. She decided it was best to stay round mine. So we headed back to mine. Andy was back and forth doing his work whilst Cassie and I went to sleep. Naturally She got the bed, so for the thrid night in a row I got the floor, this time sharing with Andy. Awesome.

Andy got up early and left for his last day. It was very nice indeed to have him up, and it would be good if more of my Wales friends would pop up from time to time (hint, hint).

Cassie got a phone call from her mum offering to pick her up and so I got up in a very tired state and walked her to Brunel pond where her mum was waiting.

Now i'm back home. Alone :(

I have band a bit later so i'm going to get some sleep.
Yawn.

I'm in Wales now. It is very peaceful. Too bad i'm not going to be seeing any of my friends but I think I may pop back in the coming month for a weekend to see the guys.

Yesterday was a little bit of a pain. I had to get up very early for work and so that I could get the bus to Wales in plenty of time. This meant that I was tired for the whole day. Well nothing new there.

I went into Uxbridge after work to pick up my Grandma's birthday pressie, a bag from Past Times. I bumped into Cassie and Laura which was nice and then I headed back to my place to pack.

Now I left my house at 5.10 to get a 7.30 bus from Victoria. You would think that this would be plenty of time, but no - London's public transport is so dire that I arrived 5 mins before the bus was due to go. Nearly missed it, which would have been hell.

The bus to Wales took a few hours and I was met at Cardiff Castle by my dad.

This morning I got up and gave the pressie to Grandma, she seemed to like it alot and we all went into Porthcawl. We went shopping and I got a great pair of trousers and a shirt (which turned out to be a tad too tight, but meh). and some cheap work shoes. Cool.

So yeh, i'm now chillin' at my parents house. We will be going out to a resturant/hotel for Grandma's birthday later which should be very nice indeed.

I'm off to Wales tonight. Should be a very pleasant weekend. I get to see the family and have some nice food and see the cats. I'm actually quite looking forward to it.

As for the today, I came into work early which means I am very tired. I have to go into Uxbridge straight after work to but a pressie as well as some supplies for the trip, then back home, pack and off again. Looks like it may be quite hectic but hopefully i will be able to manage to do it without falling asleep.

Yawn

Well now...

It appears that I only have two and a half weeks left of this pain-in-the-scrote job. I realise that I do spend most of my time moaning about it, but it really is dragging me down at the moment. I really can't wait to be a student again.

Anyway, onto better more happy thoughs. This weekend I am heading to Wales for my Grandma's birthday which should be very nice. We have a hotel booked and everything.

The week after my mate Andrew is coming up from Wales. He has another interview to teach English in Japan. This one is a few days lon so he will be crashing around my place for a while (well three nights). So it will be interesting to have company!

I do believe that the weekend after I have to move rooms (such a hassle). Then Uni! Again!
